The 5th Annual Friends of Library Homes Tour is scheduled for Sunday, December 9th from 1 to 4 PM, with music, refreshments and Christmas Tree Raffle being held at the library from 4 to 5 PM. We have four homes, the museum, and the library on the tour this year. You will get to see Emil & Deb Wilson’s home, Tom & Bonnie Phelps home, Susie Green’s home and Bernita Robbin’s house, as well as seeing an old fashioned Christmas at the museum, complete with carols by James and Grace Crook, and check out Chris’s Christmas Decorations at the library.
Tickets are the same price as last year. $7.50 in advance or $10 the day of the event. Pick up your tickets and map at the library.
For those wishing to donate miniature decorated Christmas trees, you may bring them to the library starting Monday, Nov. 26th. Patrons may purchase tickets for the trees they would like to win ($1 each, 6 for $5, 12 for $10, or 25 for $20) All proceeds from these events go to help the Friends of the Library support extra library programming.
Refreshments and music will be at the library from 4 to 5 PM. Music provided by Unclouded Day who will be sharing Christmas favorites with you.
Friends of library and patrons are asked to donate Christmas goodies for us to serve the day of the Homes Tour. Candies, cookies, desserts, and any holiday snacks are needed. Please bring them to the library starting Friday, Dec. 7th.
We would like to thank those who are allowing us to show their homes and to all those who are helping promote this. We hope that you will come get in the Holiday spirit with the 5th Annual Friends of Library Homes Tour.
