The library will be closing early today, due to icy conditions.  We will close at 4 PM.  If you are headed to the library before 4 PM, please be careful on the roads and watch the sidewalks as they are starting to get a little slippery.  We have put ice melt out, but there’s just enough rain to keep washing it off and just cold enough it’s starting to glaze over.

The event will be rescheduled for another date. Please watch for details.

A fun time for the whole family! Cake walk will be going on all evening. Support your library groups! HOW CAN YOU HELP? I’m glad you asked…
We need people to donate pots of chili or soup for the Chili/Soup Cook-off. We already have a couple of folks who have volunteered to do that. We will have two prizes for the winners. One will be based on a secret taste test done by judges who don’t know whose chili/soup is whose. The other is the “Peoples Choice Award” This one is voted on by putting change/or bills in the container by the pots. The second thing you can do is make a
dessert for one of three things. We need desserts to serve, desserts for the cakewalk, or fancy desserts to be auctioned that evening. Last but not least, you can make a basket to
donate to the basket raffle. We already have a couple of baskets. “Summer Picnic Basket” and “Mutual of Omaha, Wild Kingdom Basket” Get your tickets at library.
